Our next training begins in January, 2025!

Our 200 Hour Find Your Voice Yoga Teacher Training is now offered online or in person!  Training sessions will be recorded and shared with students who are unable to attend (virtually or in person).  

What are the requirements of a trainee registering for this course ?
A trainee must love yoga and want to cultivate a practice for their own health and wellbeing in yoga, meditation and self study. From that understanding of practice they can choose to share their passion with others and through this 200 program they will have the knowledge to achieve both.

Looking to deepen your knowledge of Yoga?  Perhaps you’ve grown curious about postures, alignment and anatomy.  Or maybe you’ve become interested in history, philosophy and the evolution of Yoga. Soul Space is home to Garnet Heart 200 hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) online and in-studio program. Every body and every ability level is welcome to join the training….The only requirements are having an open mind and an open heart! The course is offered once per year.  This study that will deepen your understanding, knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology
  • Chakra-s, Dosha-s,and Kosha-s
  • Asana, Sequencing, Mudras, Physical practice/Alignment
  • Philosophy, Wisdom Teachings, History and Ethics
  • Pranayama & Meditation
  • Practicum for Vinyasa and Yin

Our professors, courses and curriculum are Yoga Alliance Certified. Upon completion of the requirements, students will be eligible to apply for RYT200 status with Yoga Alliance. Below are the requirements:

Weekend 1: Understand Flow & Master Alignment (Jan. 4th -5th)

Weekend 2: Understanding Yin (Feb. 1st – 2nd) 

Weekend 3: Chakra-s and Sutra-s (Mar. 1st – 2nd)

Weekend 4: Yoga Therapeutics & Dosha-s & Guna-s (April 5th – 6th)  

Weekend 5: Realization and Empowerment (May 3rd – 4th) 

We dive deep into Yoga Sutra-s, Yoga Philosophy & Ethics, Alignment and Adjustments, & the Business of Yoga.

Student teaching and master classes with master class breakdown are peppered throughout the training. When you graduate you will have mastered the ability to teach a well rounded vinyasa classes with verbal cues & hands on assists to all levels. You will also understand how to teach yin practices.

Tuition is $2975 plus books (around $100 online).  Tuition includes free classes and meditation sessions for the duration of the training to assist with the required observations and access to guided practice, as well as an unlimited membership for virtual classes. Students may access these practice sessions in the studio or observe/practice with virtual classes. Tuition is non-refundable after training has commenced.  Payment plans are as follows.

About your professor:

Danielle Vardakas (MA, ERYT500, DYT1000, Reiki Master ) has graduated with a masters degree summa cum laude in yogic studies and a mindfulness instructor certification from Naropa University. Originally from Philadelphia, she studied dance and art at the Philadelphia Creative & Performing Arts High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University and the Tyler School of Art in 2001. Danielle fell in love with yoga in 1994 while dancing with a junior ballet company and began teaching yoga in 2000. Her practice continued to create balance in her body and mind through her professional dance career which included mainly Hip Hop and Breakin with a bit of Contemporary Modern. She was mentored by Cara Bradley of Verge Yoga. She is also strongly influenced by her teachers Dharma Mittra , John Friend and Kausthub Desikachar. Danielle is continuously training and has completed over 4000 hours of teacher training programs all over the globe. She is a registered 1000 hour Advanced Teacher with Dharma Yoga. Danielle & her family moved from Philadelphia to Vermont in winter 2009 where she had a yoga center and a dance studio for almost 11 years.

Danielle’s teaching style incorporates principles of alignment with flow and bliss. She themes each practice so the student can evolve spiritually as well as physically. A teacher to teachers, Danielle created five unique YTT certification programs and led 58 teacher training groups. Danielle is certified Reiki Master’s master and certifies other humans to share reiki to the master level.

Danielle Vardakas is passionate about sharing all aspects of yoga and creating a world where magic is embraced and witnessed in our daily life! She and her son are homeschooling in West Palm Beach.
