Looking to deepen your knowledge of Yoga? Perhaps you’ve grown curious about postures, alignment and anatomy. Or maybe you’ve become interested in history, philosophy and the evolution of Yoga. Soul Space is home to Soul Purpose 200 hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) online and in-studio program. Every body and every ability level is welcome to join the training….The only requirements are having an open mind and an open heart! The program is offered several times throughout the year. Our teachers, program and curriculum are Yoga Alliance Certified. Upon completion of the requirements, students will be eligible to apply for RYT200 status with Yoga Alliance. Below are the requirements:
Completion of required Modules A-D
180 Contact Hours:
- Anatomy & Physiology (20 hours)
- Teaching Techniques, Training & Practice (90 hours)
- Teaching Methodology (20 hours)
- Philosophy, History & Ethics (20 hours)
- Practicum and feedback on teaching (30 hours)
- 20 Non-Contact Hours – Independent reading/writing & chapter review work
- Submission of 40 journal entries reflecting on class observations
- Submission of answers to Chapter Reviews Questions
- 2 successfully led (1) hour practicum/signature sequence (videos will be accepted)
- Submission of narrative/reflection paper at the end of the training
Tuition is $2975 plus materials. $2975 must be paid in full 4 days prior to the start of Module A. Tuition includes free classes and meditation sessions for the duration of the training to assist with the required observations and access to guided practice. Students may access these practice sessions in the studio or observe/practice with virtual classes. Tuition is non-refundable after training has commenced. Payment plans are as follows.
Students with unlimited memberships for a minimum of 3 months or have purchased 3 packages will receive a $200 discount on tuition when paid in full. Discount cannot be applied to payment plans:
