Emily first stepped onto a yoga mat amidst a dance training program in 2007, and it became the golden thread that led her on the path ever since. Her background in dance, Alexander Technique and fitness compliment her yoga practice, which has helped her learn to truly embody herself with freedom, loving-kindness and contagious playfulness. After graduating with a degree in Dance Performance and an exercise science minor, she added to her movement credentials with Kula Yoga Shala’s 200 hour RYT in 2020. She teaches a creative, invigorating, heart-centered flow, and is committed to remaining a student as well as a guide in this ancient practice. Informed by her background in modern dance, performance art, shadow integration, and a deep love for mystic philosophy, you can expect an organic, whimsical class, with a healthy, down-to-earth dose of dharma.
