A native of Milan, Italy, Carlotta discovered the practice of Yoga when she moved to NY in 2005 and it was love at first practice. Carlotta found Yoga as a tool to balance her busy life in a fast paced city.
She had been exploring different schools and teaching styles, but she predominantly studied at Jivamukti Yoga, until 2014. And then she stumbled upon the Ashtanga method and has been practicing it since. Under the guidance of Barbara Verrochi and Kristin Leigh, at The Shala in NY, Carlotta became dedicated to the Ashtanga method and travelled to Mysore, India to study Ashtanga with Sharath Jois.
Carlotta continued to study and train and has been teaching since 2015. Her vinyasa classes have a focus on breath, alignment, and mindfulness principles. She works with students of all ability levels and believes in adapting the practice to be accessible to anyone. She is dedicated to assessing and meditating on her dharma (life’s purpose) to stay true to her authentic self and encourages her students to do the same!
