Soul Surrender 300-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher Training   Soul Space is home to Soul Surrender 300 hour YTT.  Individuals with a 200-hour RYT certificate are eligible to enroll in this training.  Upon completion of all requirements, trainees will be eligible to apply for RYT 500 Certification through Yoga Alliance. The program will is offered several times throughout the year which includes modules of study that will deepen you understanding, knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology
  • Chakras, Energetic Anatomy
  • Asana, Sequencing, Mudras, Physical practice/Alignment
  • Philosophy, Wisdom Teachings, History and Ethics
  • Sanskrit
  • Pranayama, Meditation, Mantras

Our teachers, program and curriculum are Yoga Alliance Certified. Upon completion of the requirements, students will be RYT500 certified.  Below are the requirements:

  • Completion of required Modules A-E
  • 270 Contact Hours, 30 Non-Contact Hours
  • A passing grade on a two writing assignments
  • Submission of 64 journal entries reflecting on class observations
  • Submission of answers to Chapter Reviews Questions
  • Four (4 ) 75-minute led sequences
  • Providing assists to clients during three practices

Tuition is $4800 to be paid in full prior to the start of Module A.  Tuition includes unlimited practice and mediation sessions at Soul Space for the duration of the scheduled program. A $700 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot.  Tuition is non-refundable after training has commenced. Payment plans are as follows:

$5,000 in two payments ($2,500 on the first and $2,500 by the 4th weekend)
$5,500 in multiple payments ($2,500 on the first weekend and $250.00 for 8 of 9 remaining weekends)

A discount of $200 is available to Soul Space members with current packages!  All packages paid in advance will be paused and will resume after the 10th weekend!

One weekend per month for 10 months (approx. 2 weekends per module) plus 64 observations of 75-minute classes (journal entries). 

Fridays, 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Saturdays and Sundays, 12:15pm – 6pm

Our curriculum is flexible!  If part of a module is missed, the student will be permitted to attend that session during the next matriculation or make up hours during the weekends without scheduled sessions at a cost of $50/hour.

  • In depth understanding of the chakras and the nadis

  • Yin Yoga training (history, philosophy and the Meridians & sequencing)
  • Creating a sequence with a theme and flow
  • Creating a sequencing for special group (i.e. Chair yoga, Children’s yoga, Prenatal, etc.)
  • Logical and safe Sequencing:  Understanding the placement of poses in sequence for maximum benefit
  • Hands-on Assists
  • Monitoring and Adjusting

Philosophy, Wisdom Teachings, History and Ethics

  • Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (discussions and submission of informative paper)
  • Hatha Yoga Pradipika
  • Bhagavad Gita (discussions and submission of informative paper)
